The service and visitor centre in LE MAZEAU welcomes you to the heart of the Marais Poitevin. Situated in the centre of the village, near the town hall and the village hall, you’ll still find it a peaceful spot!

For refreshments, you’ll find: the ‘Échoppe du Marais’ wine cellar and biscuit shop, the bakery, the ‘Au Bord de l’Eau’ restaurant, or ‘L’Orée du Marais’.

Before or after your tastings, you can choose from a range of boat trips, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding or cycling by contacting “l’Embarcadère de la Venise Verte”, or explore the Marais on foot along its trails.

During the summer season, a range of activities are organised by local businesses.

On site, you’ll find free, unrestricted parking, including: 1 water supply point and 2 power points, each with 4 sockets (suitable for camping cars), as well as a waste water disposal point for black and grey water...

For further facilities, the “Le Marais Sauvage” campsite is open from April to October.
