Description
Les villages des Fourgs et des Verrières passèrent un traité en 1510 dans lequel ils devinrent sujets des sires de Neuchâtel. Leur rémission fut accordée en 1512.
Une convention passée en 1762 instaura la construction d'un mur en pierres pour séparer les troupeaux et délimiter les territoires respectifs. La commune de Sainte-Croix assuma seule ce chantier.
