Canoë-Kayak sur l'Adour

You have your own equipment, enjoy a free and pleasant descent to Mugron in the heart of the Chalosse!
The Adour nautical itinerary promotes the practice of canoeing on the river. This project is useful for existing clubs, and also allows free practice. It identifies routes with: access points, safe waterways and appropriate signage. It is based on existing nautical bases such as the SCKAN in Saint-Sever.
Fishing and canoeing are the main attractions of the Adour, but the walk is not forgotten with the progressive development of the Sentier de l'Adour.
The descent, recommended in summer, is allowed all year round, but watch out for floods!
Saint-Sever once had its port on this river born in the Campan des Pyrénées valley. Since 1578, it flows into Bayonne, after changing its mouth in the course of time and at the hand of man.
