Description
In the heart of the Basque mountains, in the Aldudes Valley, take the time to walk along the Basque pig educational trail, from the maternity hospital to the mountainsides.
During an hour and a half of free visit, you will be able to see up close, vultures, goats, Basque pigs, pottoks and local flora... Good shoes and a stick are recommended for this walk.
After the effort, the comfort! Join the tables on the terrace in front of the pigs' maternity ward and enjoy our gourmet plates and talos (filled cakes) with our PDO Kintoa hams, Aldudes Valley ham, cold cuts, pâtés, Ossau Iraty ewe's milk cheeses and small vegetables. Did you know : Kintoa ham obtained the PDO in January 2019.
