Orienteering trail around Passy lake. All year round, like an outdoor walk, a map in your hands, look for markers.
The purpose of orienteering is to complete a course set to a very precise map. This activity enables on to learn how to read a map and the ability to link elements of the map with those on the field, to understand the legends and the scale of the map. The course is materialized by tags (orange and white markers) that are referenced on the map as check points. Punch pliers are attached to these tags to enable competitors to justify their passage. The town of Passy has set up several differnt courses ??in partnership with the Regional Orienteering Committee: twelve courses around Lake Passy, one in Plaine Joux and one at Lac Gris.
Throughout the year : open daily.
