Ensemble fortifié de Roquefort

Description

Roquefort is a castle town created in the 12th century at the confluence of two rivers, the Douze and the Estampon. The 2 streets Alphonse Castaing and Hubert Croharé between the church classified with the Historic buildings and the Castle of Pènecadet, make it possible to see the medieval framework, a part of the ramparts and some remarkable houses of the XVIIIe century.
You have to go along the river to see the limestone cliffs.
