MEL LA BIDOUILLE

My name is Mélanie and the first time I picked up a sewing machine was to make a skirt out of jeans. After a few basic sewing lessons, I dared to make more and more elaborate accessories.

After several months of hobby sewing, I put the idea of setting up my own business in the back of my mind, without really knowing what to sell. Then one day, the idea of recycling textiles came up. I wanted to recycle and add value to textiles by giving them a second life.

So you'll see bulk bags made from a curtain and a shirt, pocket trays made from denim and fabric scraps, furoshiki made from sheets and lots more!

That's how Mel la Bidouille officially became a company in June 2020!
