Château Vieux Gabarey
Description
The history of this property is pure family history. It is that of Serge Saint Martin who created the Château Vieux Gabarey in 1982. Located in the heart of the village of Lamarque, Château Vieux Gabarey is surrounded by the Margaux appellation to the south, Saint Julien to the north, and Moulis to the west.
Its gravelly terroir produces wines of great finesse and an excellent bouquet.
Since 2007, Serge Saint Martin has been joined by his son Maxime. Together, they strive to bring together tradition and modernity.
Finally, Maxime Saint Martin took over his uncle's vineyard in Saint Estèphe and produced his first vintage in 2009 with Château Graves de Pez.
