Description
Moissac est sur la Via Podiensis du Pèlerinage de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Cité uvale, Moissac fut l'une si ce n'est la ville la plus touchée par l'inondation de mars 1930 qui dévasta tout le Sud-Ouest. Un événement que l'historien Max Lagarrigue n'hésite pas à qualifier "d'inondation du siècle." En effet, ce dernier confirme que "l'on dénombre, à Moissac, 120 morts, 1 400 maisons détruites et 5 896 sans abris."
