O Burgo estuary

In this same space, which forms part of the "Route of the Impressionism of the Mariñas", declared a European Cultural Itinerary in 2019 by the Council of Europe, the painter Francisco Lloréns illustrated the landscape of the Galician rías from one of its banks in 1910. A play of colours was thus created, combining earths and greens with the blue tones of the estuary and the sky. In the painting there is a mixture of forest and agricultural land, as well as a small rural nucleus near the Roman bridge of O Burgo.
