Ideally located between the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys, the refuge is on the route of the GR55, the tour of the Vanoise glaciers and the tour of the Grande Casse.When you arrive, the marmots welcome you, and if you are lucky enough to stay at the refuge, it is not uncommon to see ibexes grazing. The lakes and the richness of the flora will be calls to contemplation. Keep your eyes peeled, the edelweiss are hitting the trails!7Hikers, mountaineers, young children and seniors rub shoulders, sharing experiences, emotions and habits!The caretaker and his team will be delighted to welcome you for a good meal, a blueberry pie, a moment of relaxation in this exceptional setting!When you arrive at the refuge, it is not uncommon to come across mountaineers returning from a race, while children play outside while waiting for dinner.
