Le gîte du Manoir de la Vieille Douve - Bramley

The Manoir de la Vieille Douve will charm you with its range of accommodation. Alongside the main residence and guest rooms, a tastefully renovated building houses 3 gîtes.

Bramley is our largest gîte and can accommodate up to 10 adults in 5 bedrooms. The front door leads into the large lounge, where there are two large sofas, four separate chairs and coffee tables. There is hanging space for coats and shoes can be stored next to the stairs. There is also a cloakroom next to the lounge. The lounge leads to a large kitchen/dining room. The dining table has 8 chairs and 2 carvers. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, electric oven and fridge/freezer (3 drawers). French windows lead to a two-level terrace with an outdoor dining table and 10 chairs. Relaxing chairs are located on the second level.

Leading off the lounge is bedroom 1, which has been adapted for PRM use. The door is 90 cm wide. The bedroom has a king-size bed (160cm), bedside tables and lamps, a chest of drawers and hooks. The en-suite shower room has a washbasin, heated towel rail and toilet. This room cannot accommodate an extra bed. Stairs from the lounge lead to 4 further bedrooms, two king-size en-suite bedrooms, a further king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Upstairs, bedroom 2 has a king-size bed (160cm) with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. This room will also take a cot. There is also an en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, chest of drawers, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. Bedroom 3 has a king-size bed (160 cm) with bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and hooks. Bedroom 4 is a twin room (2 single beds 90 cm) with bedside tables and lamps and a wardrobe. This room cannot accommodate an extra bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a shower room and separate toilet. The shower room has a shower cubicle, washbasin, heated towel rail and storage shelves.

Further down the corridor, bedroom 5 has a king-size bed (160cm) with bedside tables and lamps, dressing table and chair and a wardrobe. There is also an en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. This room will take a folding bed and/or cot.
