Les jardins de l'Evêché covers 5 hectares in the heart of the Cité district. The six terraces were laid out on the slopes of Puy Saint-Etienne when a new episcopal palace was built at the end of the 18th century. Purchased by the city in 1910, the complex has been progressively redeveloped. Visitors can discover a formal garden, a vast botanical garden and an ecological area showcasing the natural environments of the Limousin region. The terraces offer a remarkable view of the banks of the Vienne.
