Fontaine Saint-Maurice

La Fontaine Miraculeuse is located below the village of Saint-Robert, in a vaulted excavation to the left of the cross and tomb.
In the past, August 15 pilgrims arrived by special train, and reinforcements were needed at the Segonzac-Saint-Robert station to carry out the inspection
It was said to have beneficial powers for sick, sickly or stunted children. To this end, the children were placed in front of the fountain, and one or two liters of water were poured over their heads. After the shower, the child was dressed in a change of clothes brought by the parents, the old clothes being left next to the fountain.
