Eglise d'Ayen
Description
The primitive church of Ayen was located in Ayen-bas, and belonged to two architectural periods. It had numerous buttresses, and between them were twelve tombs or enfeus, the burial places of the lords of Ayen or the surrounding area.
Due to its poor condition, the old church was demolished at the end of the 19th century.
A new building was erected in Ayen-haut, adorned with certain elements of the old church: come and discover this new edifice.
