Caches des Maquisards de la forêt de Boubon

The Association des Anciens Combattants de la Résistance (Oradour sur Vayres-Cussac) has reconstructed the Maquis caches in the Boubon forest. The "gourbis" are secured, and are located at the entrance to the Forêt de Boubon via the Chapelle Montbrandeix road, at the start of the "la forêt de Boubon" hiking trail (topofiche available from the tourist office and on the Haute-Vienne hiking website). Since spring 2022, the caches have been "uncovered" following partial deforestation as part of the Boubon forest's upkeep, but the caches and information panels remain accessible.
