La Croix de Rouzeyrol

Known as the "pierced cross", the Roman cross at Rouzeyrol is a roadside cross dating back to the Middle Ages and has been listed as a historic monument since 1927. It is located not far from the Tours de Merle in the hamlet of Rouzeyrol, at the crossroads of a footpath leading to the Tours de Merle in the commune of St Geniez ô Merle. Discoidal or four-lobed in shape, it features a Christ-like sculpture at its center.
