One of the oldest houses in Magnac (1601). It is situated at the corner of the old RN 20 and the rue Paul Renaudie. At the corners of the slate roof, there are two small square towers. This residence belonged to the Order of the Templars. The pilgrims going to Compostela made a stop here to rest and take refreshment. Later, the house was occupied by a coaching inn. A superb granite chimney, decorated with a scallop shell is to be seen in the café bar. The butcher’s shop has been established in the building for more than 100 years.
