Chêne remarquable de Charroux

The Charroux oak, located at Place de Charroux in the village, is listed in the inventory of remarkable trees in the Limousin region.
Over 250 years old, its branches are impressive.
Despite successive droughts, it clearly owes its good health to the presence of a generous spring that bathes its roots.
It is constantly visited by admirers and hikers on the open-air path that leaves the gymnasium parking lot just a few metres away.
