Verger conservatoire du Limousin

Over the years, Jean-Paul Paulet's orchard has become a veritable apple conservatory. He has saved many forgotten local varieties, such as the "Lunou" from Châteauneuf-la-Fôret, the "Calville rouge" from Verneuil, the "Pouyade" and the "Safran". 35 varieties from the region are presented. The recently completed plantations are located in the heart of the village of Eyjeaux, on communal land bordering an alleyway which is the starting point of a hiking trail called "les pêcheries oubliées".
