Description
The source is near Pétillat/Lépinas in the commune of Peyrabout (Ahun, Creuse) at 684 m. of altitude at the massif of La Courolle. The Gartempe flows into the river Creuse near La Roche-Posay (Vienne) after 200 km. After, it flows into the Vienne and the Loire.
