Retable en Bois peint et doré - 1711 (Eglise St Laurent)

Retable en Bois peint et doré - 1711 (Eglise St Laurent)

Description

Located in the Notre Dame du Rosaire chapel, this baroque altarpiece, the work of the Tullist sculptor Duhamel, was delivered in March 1711. It lacks the left wing, the crown and the original statuary. However, from its location in this Chapel, one can think that the main niche was occupied by a representation of the Virgin and the niches in the lower part by statues of St Dominic and St Thérèse.
