Les Roches de Mazuras
Description
A listed site since 1936, this imposing rocky chaos, formed by the emergence of a vein of white quartz, was once used as a quarry. From their height of 626 metres, the moor-covered rocks offer a panoramic view over the valley. Legend has it that they are haunted by fades.
Private site.
Accessible on the Bois des Boeufs trail from Bourganeuf or from the Petit Mazuras chapel.
