Description

The Saint-Martin canal is then covered from the boulevard Jules-Ferry (vault of the Temple realized in 1907). It passes then under the boulevard Richard-Lenoir (vault Richard Lenoir built between 1860 and 1862), and finally under the place of the Bastille (vault of the Bastille realized in 1862) to open on the port of the Arsenal. Vaults Richard Lenoir and of the Temple are drilled of oculi of ventilation. They also allow the natural lighting of the tunnel.
