La gare de Forbach
Description
The station was built in 1861, when the "coal line" between Metz and Saarbrücken opened to traffic on November 15, 1852. The current building dates from 1962, and was remodeled in 2007 to coincide with the arrival of the TGV EST Européen. The new station square became Place Robert Schuman.
