Church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption
Description
A magnificent example of Romanesque architecture, with its octagonal tower featuring geminated bays, arched with tri-lobed arches, rare in Lorraine. The semi-circular apse on a square plan is reminiscent of the Cistercian plan and dates from the 13th century. Also worth seeing is the 14th-century Vierge à l'Enfant (Virgin and Child) in Jaumont stone.
