L'origine du Lavoir date de février 1886, les habitants du hameau ont fait une demande pour obtenir un abri pour le lavoir :
"... il serait d'une grande utilité pour les habitants que le lavoir de la mare du pays soit couvert et dont la dépense ne serait pas bien grande..."
