Château de Fougeret

The castle is mentioned in the texts as early as 1337. Situated on top of a 38 meter high cliff, it dominates the Vienne Valley which gave it a defensive function at the end of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century. Left abandoned for about fifty years, it is in 2009, thanks to its new owners that it has been the subject of major renovation work. Paranormal activities would take place in this castle.
Classification as a Historic Monument in 2010.
