Château de la Rouvraye

The oldest traces of the castle date back to the Middle Ages. As early as the 15th century, the castle was the stronghold of a Poitevin lordship and protected Loudun from wars
In the 16th century, it underwent profound architectural modifications that are still present today: Renaissance façade, galleries, dovecote, cellars.
