Demeure Art nouveau
Description
Cette demeure a été construite par Charles Bourgeois, disciple de Paul Hankar, qui a utilisé le métal et la brique. Un linteau en fonte surmonte la grande ouverture du 1er niveau. La baie thermale supérieure et les 3 baies sont soulignées de goutelettes pour l'écoulement des eaux de pluie.
À noter : la perspective du boulevard Gambetta se déploie dans l'axe du Monument au morts. Il relie Tourcoing à Roubaix depuis 1872-1880 et présente un éventail varié en matière d'architecture.
