The Resteigne mill

Description

This long limestone, brick, and half-timbered building once belonged to the neighboring castle. On the east gable, a wooden waterwheel powered by a canal diverted from the Lesse drives a turbine generating around 18,000 kWh/year of green electricity. The south facade features a doorway dating from 1792 with Louis XVI-style wrought ironwork.
