マツマエ ハナガサ (松前花笠)
'Hanagasa' is the name given to a hat adorned with flowers, used for traditional Japanese dances.
The young leaves of this cherry are bronze-green to brown, and come out before the large, double, wide flowers, which grow in clusters. The bud is deep pink and the flower lightens as it opens, becoming almost white in the center with dark pink edges.
