Prunus serrulata "Shôgetsu
Description
Shogetsu' means Moonlight on the Pines. The large, semi-double flowers with cut petals are deep pink in bud, pure white when open. Bronze-green foliage develops during flowering.
Flowers are grouped in clusters of 4 to 6, on long petioles.
Tree: umbrella-shaped, 5 m high
Flower: white, semi-double
Flowering time: mid-April
