Le tilleul

Until 1937, the year in which it was cut down, on the square stood an old lime tree whose base was surrounded by stonework. It was located more or less opposite the town hall. Jean-Simon Renier said of this tree that "in Vincennes justice was brought under an oak tree, in Dalhem under a pear tree and in Dison under a lime tree".
