Above the stairway on the restored town square, the cast iron pump from 1860 was reinstalled. It drew its source from rain water and was used to supply the inhabitants of the village. Among all the models of monumental cast iron pumps, this type is the most frequent. The body is octagonal from the base to the damping. Its panels are decorated with reeds and it is crowned by a vase. This pump was one of a series manufactured and installed in and around 1860. Others were installed on Rue Pisseroule in Dison, in Olne and in Durbuy, amongst others.
