Bornes de l'ancienne frontière prussienne

Napoleon's defeat in Waterloo led to another reworking of the borders. The incorporation of Eupen in to the Kingdom of Prussia led to new demarcations that placed Baelen and Membach in direct contact with the territory of Prussia. Stone boundary markers were place all along the route of this new border, as were Belgian customs posts, in particular at Garnstock in Baelen and Perkiets in Membach.
