This small Romanesque building, whose origins can be traced back to the 11th century, has a hemicycle chevet closing a single nave flanked to the south by a chapel added in the 19th century. On the west gable, there is a triangular belfry-wall pierced with three bays for the bells. To the left of the bell tower, a north portal, under a canopy in a slightly "tripot et mascagne" style, seems more recent. Only one bay of Romanesque origin remains in the north wall. Inside, there is little light, a total sobriety if we forget the south chapel. The paneled ceiling hides badly a vault that has disappeared
This small country church is better known in Albret for its annual pilgrimage in honour of the Virgin. She reigns in Heavy costume over the fountain which offers its clear and abundant water a few steps away on the square, west of the bell tower.
