Description

There was already a fountain on Rue des Raines, near to this site, towards the end of the 18th century. The fountain sculpture came into being thanks to collaboration between the sculptor Serge Gangolf, the Verviers Soroptimist Club, the Verviers Fontaines 2000 non-profit making association and the city of Verviers. Inaugurated in March 2006, this fountain sculpture in stainless steel is 2 metres high.
