The Chalet du Plan Bois "Chez Laurette" is in Plan Bois hamlet at the top of Lac Noir gondola, in the heart of nature.

The atmosphere is simple and warm, and Isabelle and her team make it a point of honor to give you the warmest of welcomes.
You'll discover a mountain setting full of charm.
Whether you're enjoying a sunny break with a salad, one of the many excellent home-cooked dishes or a local fruit tart by the fireplace or in the cushions of the cosy dining area, you'll have a great time in the mountains.
In summer, Isabelle awaits you in this authentic and charming place.

In summer only, you can "Déjeuner sur l'herbe"!
A gourmet picnic presented in a pretty wicker basket for a country-style lunch in the wooded surroundings of the Plan Bois plateau.
Baskets for 2 to 4 people are to be ordered the day before, before 4pm from the restaurant.
Each basket includes :
- a salad (different each day)
- choice of: quiche / charcuterie platter / cold roast
- a dessert in a "Le Parfait" jar (e.g. tiramisu, vanilla cream, etc.)
Possibility of ordering a bottle of wine in addition (corkscrew supplied). Basket to be collected before 12 noon on day of picnic; basket returned the same day. Picnic basket : 12€/pers.

Location complements
In summer, access is via the Route de Plan Bois: head for Les Coches, at the roundabout take the Route des Bauches, you'll pass the Vanoise Express and the next hairpin on your right, head for "Le Sauget" then continue along the road to its terminus at Plan Bois (sign on the road indicating the restaurant).
In summer, there's also a gondola lift for the slightly disabled, but the descent is on foot rather than in a wheelchair.
