The castle is composed of a rectangular dwelling that rises to more than ten meters high. Two levels of mullioned windows pierce the south facade. The semi-circular tower leaning against the north side shelters the stone stairway of Francis I which serves the three stories, the attic space no longer being accessible. The nave-shaped roofing framework in the shape of an upturned nave is visible since the roof was rebuilt at the end of the 20th century. The construction of the castle corresponds to the period of the reign of Edward II of England. Since the end of the 13th century, it has been handed down only to women.
