Aire de pique-nique de l'écluse de Mauriac

This picnic area gives you a breathtaking view of the Château de Mauriac and the Isle passing in front of its banks.
Its architecture makes it an "idyllic" castle, a Epinal image of the castles of our childhood, as we drew them.
Mauriac invites to contemplation, to take the time, to poetry. L'Isle sets the pace for this walk where time no longer passes so quickly. The bracing adds to the ambient music as well as that of the wind in the trees.
The greenway then invites you to a digestive walk on the banks of the Isle.
2 picnic tables are located on the islet and 3 tables are next to the wooden building, an old tobacco barn.
