Leave Venice and head for VERONA, the city of Romeo and Juliet, on an excursion in a small group!
Begin your day by climbing aboard an air-conditioned minibus, before arriving at one of the most romantic cities in Italy: Verona!
Upon arrival in Verona, meet your local guide in front of the BASILICA OF SAN ZENO, where Romeo and Juliet were married in Shakespeare’s play.
Your guide will show you around the church before taking you to COLLE SAN PIETRO, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the city. From there, you will go back down by foot and take a tour of the city. Stop to visit the 1st-century ROMAN AMPHITHEATRE, while avoiding waiting in line thanks to your PRIORITY-ACCESS TICKETS, then head to explore the SANT’ANASTASIA BASILICA.
Then, you will go to the city’s must-see landmark: JULIET’S HOUSE. You will see the famous balcony where Juliet declares the famous words, “O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? " Note the STATUE OF JULIET at the bottom of the house.
Then, continue your route towards VERONA’S HISTORICAL CENTRE. Your guide will tell you more about the true story of the city that inspired Shakespeare to write the drama about the Capulets and Montagues.
After lunch (not included), continue towards ROMEO’S HOUSE, while your guide tells you numerous strange stories about the city. You will see, amongst others:
* The Roman Arch of Porta Borsari
* The Arco della Costa
* The Scaligeri tombs
* The Torre Lamberti
* Castelvecchio Bridge
* and more!
Your guide will then accompany you to the station, where you will catch the train to head back to Venice.

Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
