Larina presents the archaeological remains of human occupation of the Isle Crémieu plateau from prehistoric times to the high middle ages.
Occupied since Prehistoric times (Gallic oppidum, the Chuire religious deposit), the Larina archaeological site, at the top of the cliffs overlooking the plain, presents the restored remains of a vast rural estate from the end of Antiquity and the Merovingian period. Farm buildings, accommodation, chapel and necropolis are revealed on a visit, the result of fifteen years of excavations.
