Description
Cysoing est célèbre pour sa Pyramide de Fontenoy, commémorant le passage de Louis XV à Cysoing en mai 1744. Elle témoigne de la présence d’une ancienne abbaye aujourd’hui disparue. Elle fut fondée au IXe siècle par Evrard de Frioul et sa femme Gisèle, petite-fille de Charlemagne.
