Description

Follow the avenue de la Résistance, up to the town hall. Before the town hall, turn left in the allée Hérold. At the end, left again in the allée du Jardin Anglais et de Finchley, then right in the allée Valère Lefebvre. Follow on your right the boulevard de l’Ouest.

Town hall and Albert Schweitzer

Town hall : Statue of general Maunoury: In 1914, general Maunoury, commander of the VIth army, made the town hall his general quarter where he gave the order of gathering vehicles to transport armed forces which stopped the enemy on the Ourcq river, a preliminary to the Marne battle.

Albert Schweitzer high school: it was built in 1956 on stilts, sank ten meters underground. It is classified as an historical monument. There is a lake in the park dated end of the XVIII th century.
