After the Ibardin pass and its famous ventas, you will walk through the wild and fresh atmosphere of the Intzola ravine.

In the heart of a very touristic coast, the Domaine d'Abbadia remains a magnificent space of protected nature that you can discover, but only on foot and without your dog. Small or big, dogs can scare away the sheep but also the pheasants and other small birds (warblers, blackbirds, thrushes...) which nest in the bushes, close to the ground.

This sumptuous seaside trail is the first and one of the flattest stages of the GR® 10 long-distance hiking trail, with 2 lanes for everyone to enjoy in complete safety. Children will find a playground and a bi-cross area, and will have fun looking for the white and red GR® markers.

The master builder was Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, an architect whose work here is one of his rarest creations. The neo-Gothic Abbadia, le Château Observatoire, reflects the orientalist passion of its owner.

In Abbadia park, the Château-Observatoire, this 1-hour treasure hunt is aimed at children aged 7 to 13. The kit consists of a 12-page notebook, a patterned pencil and a surprise gift given to the explorer at the end of the game. The participant must observe the façades and follow the exterior scenography to answer certain riddles. They must also decode an alphabet and tackle a labyrinth. Certain answers will enable them to complete a mystery sentence. In addition to the answers, the booklet tells the story of the Château and Antoine d?Abbadie... A fun way to discover the site!
