This little chapel is an original place nestled on a street corner, on the path leading to the Colline de la bergerie. With its Labourdin-style exterior, it's hard to imagine the surprise hidden inside. As soon as you step inside, the magic begins. But above all, it's the Basque artist Albert Proux, who created the frescoes, who is responsible for this surprising profusion of color. This hill is an old domain nowedays classified sensitive natural space. From the top, we can see the south part of the town and also Itxassou, the neighbour town of Cambo. Some picnic installations exist on the site but a simple checked tablecloth on the grass could be enough...

La Colline de la Bergerie, a former estate now classified as a sensitive natural area of 17.5 hectares, is located on the heights of Cambo-les-Bains and is endowed with late-mown meadows and forests, which offer a 180° view of the Basque summits: l'Artzamendi, l'Ursuia, le Mondarrain or la Rhune. The park has some remarkable trees and the remains of the exterior layout suggest that this estate was once an exceptional residence (the Wendel family castle has now completely disappeared). The Elondare house, with its singular wooden architecture, which can be found on the site, informs and educates the public about biodiversity, the management of the site and the role of wild pollinators. This place of relaxation and picnic for the families is also a stroll of 2,5 km on a path shaded by a wood at the beginning of Cambo-les-Bains.

A farming estate since 1856, the Lurmintoën Borda farm has seen generations of farmers. In 2011, Jean-Baptiste turned to growing PDO Espelette chillies. From seed selection to planting, from harvesting to the production of powder and by-products, he and his wife Mélanie carry out all the production stages. This year, Mélanie and Jean-Baptiste will be sharing their expertise through tours of the farm (history of PDO peppers, production stages, etc.) and tasting workshops, recounting their lives as producers. A species that thrives in cool and humid areas, the beech tree finds all the conditions it needs to flourish on the northern slope. The few beautiful specimens present here are pollarded. Also known as "trognes," these trees have undergone successive low cuts for decades, giving them their distinctive shapes. These cuts, often made to provide firewood, result in scars that appear as bulges on the tree. The presence of these trees is a boon for saproxylic insects (those that feed on dead wood) and, consequently, for birds like woodpeckers that feed on their larvae.

The town of Cambo-les-Bains preserve a typical basque church : the Saint-Laurent's Church. The church has been built on the XVII century. Reshuffled several times, the church is now composed by an arrow sit on top of the octogonal bell tower. Inside, everything has been made as all the basque typical churches : a unique nave and 3 floors of wooden carved tribunes. Outside, the old cemetery shelters numerous discoid steles from the XVII century and also funeral slabs from the XVIII.

Assantza domain is one of the oldest place in Cambo. It was before made up of the church and of the main part of "Haut-Cambo". Cambo first took the name of "Assantza", according to a 1199 document. The name of Cambo only appears in 1350. This place had been bought by the munucipality in 2012 to be dedicated to Culture. Assantza welcome temporary expositions and two permanent : the first one dedicated to the painter Pablo Tillac, the second one to the sculptor Jesus Echevarria, two artists who had been living in Cambo.
