Ground floor: living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen (oven, gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker) (washing machine available for stays of 3 nights or more). Upstairs: a bedroom with a double bed and an atypical en-suite bathroom with clawfoot bath, washbasin and toilet. Outside: a small terrace with dining area adjoining the studio for outside dining. Thanks to its great architectural and artistic interests, Saint Julien Church was listed in 1993. Erected in 1924 in a neo-byzantine style, in reinforced concrete, its shape is highly original and the church has barely been changed since its construction. Free visit all year long. Guided tours of the church and the bell tower every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 pm in French (on Wednesdays at 5 pm in English) from 15/06 to 15/09 : around 200 steps, from 10 years old and above, depending on weather forecasts. The Charles Léandre museum is situates in the wedding romm of the town hall. It is a room full of strange objects given for free by privat individuals. The room was named after Charles Léandre to honor his generosity after he offered 11 paintings to the town. The rest of the collection is made of faience, porcelaine and of furniture from the 18th century.

Medieval town in Domfront. The Medieval town, one of the only ones of its kind in the Orne, was built in the shadow of the Château de Domfront according to a typical urban development plan from the Middle Ages with narrow cobbled streets, covered passageways and inner courtyards. The 13th-century town walls encircle the historic centre with its half-timbered houses. At the end of the Middle Ages, private manors were built in the town, with a combination of half-timber, Armorican sandstone and red granite. The Tourist Office organises guided tours during the peak season, and throughout the year with a booking.

The Castle of Domfront was built on an outcrop of Armorican sandstone and is a remarkable defensive site. The present vestiges date back to Henry Beauclerc in the 12th century (keep and chapel). The ramparts incorporate a uniquely preserved inner corridor pierced with arrow-slits. Free visit all year long. A jewel of the Norman Romanesque art. The building is from the end of the XI century and the beginning of the XII century. A perfect demonstration of the Roman style in Normandy, the church has a Madonna and Child (XIV century), a beautiful recumbent statue (XVII century), wall paintings (XII and XIII century), tomb-stones which are interesting to decipher (XVI – XVII century).
