Commensacq's popular media library is open to all, young and old. Commensacq's Romanesque church, largely rebuilt in the 15th century, was fortified in the following century during the Wars of Religion. The 17th century saw the construction of the Sainte-Quitterie chapel, which was converted into a porch in the 19th century. The present neo-Gothic bell tower dates from 1866. Two carved friezes were reassembled and adapted around the nave's western pillar in the early 19th century.
