In a hamlet, detached house situated on 300 m2 of lawn, 100 m from a small river and 300 m from a pond of 33 ha, ecological reserve classified ' Natura 2000'.

Built in an old farmhouse, this large and very independent gite is located on a 6 000 m² lawn. It invites you to a zen stay in the middle of nature and proposes, on the spot, a swimming pool under cover, heated (open from April to November, treated with salt). Bicycles are at your disposal to go by small roads to visit the ornithological reserve of Murat and the Natural Park of the Brenne and its myriad of ponds.

The three lodgings of the Camping du Moulin de la Gassotte are each composed of one room and can accommodate four people. The Camping du Moulin de la Gassotte is located on the site of an old water mill, 700 meters from the famous Abbey of Saint Savin classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.

Located on the 1st floor of the Moulin, it comprises a room with 1 double bed and 1 sofa-bed. A fully-equipped kitchen area and a bathroom (shower) with toilet. The three gîtes at Camping du Moulin de la Gassotte each have one bedroom and can accommodate four people. Camping du Moulin de la Gassotte is located on the site of an old watermill, 700 meters from the famous Abbey of Saint Savin, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

We renovated the gîte at the end of 2022 with all the necessary comforts, retaining some of the original features but adapting some modern ones: air conditioning, mosquito nets on the windows, modern electric fire for the autumn/winter months. We have an ecological wood-fired jacuzzi which is included for stays of 7 nights or more, and extra for short stays, reserved exclusively for our guests. You can relax with a complimentary bottle of bubbly while gazing at the stars. For your entertainment: large garden with deckchairs, table tennis, badminton, darts and archery. If you'd like to leave your car at home, there's a secure garage for your bikes or car.

The church dominates the valley of the Benaize. Partly Romanesque, it has been modified over time, particularly in the Gothic period. At the end of the Middle Ages, it was decorated with wall paintings. Recently discovered, they represent Saint Christopher carrying Christ on his shoulders, consecration crosses and a funerary liter. The church preserves a beautiful 17th century statue, in polychrome wood, representing Saint Roch, traditionally venerated against plague and other infectious diseases. Registered as a Historic Monument in 1993.
